Nevertheless, Nargis got snapped up a couple of times and has been spotted in public quite often. Most notably, she was seen having lunch with Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu at a popular eatery.
Had she taken the effort to stay away from places where she could draw attention to herself. Imtiaz might not have cared.
The source says, "He now feels the girl's devil may care attitude will cost him his movie. The film is expected to release in August and he worries that the attention around Fakhri might peak and ebb all too soon".
It also does not help that his lead pair indulge in public displays of affection. Source says, "The fact that they are dating makes things really awkward for the Rockstar director. Also, since Ranbir Kapoor is a good friend, he cannot get too stern with him".
Imtiaz Ali had gone to great length to hide his Love Aaj Kal second lead, Brazilian newbie Giselli Monterio hidden till the film's release. She, too, was issued a warning by the filmmaker to stay away from public places and not be in media glare.

It is believed that Ranbir's ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone's interest in acting with him was also a bone of contention for Katrina. She was extremely upset with the news that Deepika might be doing Ayan Mukerjee's next with Ranbir.
Sources said, "Even though RK and Deepika have got over each other, Kat was not pleased with the idea that they would be working together in the same movie. She even expressed her apprehensions to Ayan who told her he had not finalized anyone yet".
Close friends are of the opinion that Ranbir and Katrina are done for good. Ranbir is clearly besotted by Fakhri and has been raving about her to all his friends. When asked if their love story was scripted to benefit their movie, the source quipped, "Not at all. They are truly in love. Spend time with them and you would know".

Looks like Imtiaz Ali will have to try harder to conceal his next, "Rockstar" details, from the public. After a song being leaked online (from the movie's first shooting schedule in Prague), TOI broke Ranbir's look in the movie.

In fact that he plays a Hindu college student (and Nargis, a Stephenian) and sports a college sweatshirt was the talk of DU's North Campus and now, many Hinduites have the songs that were shot on campus on their cellphones.
A Hindu student Divyanshu Chaturvedi says, "During the shooting, many students made videos. Some even uploaded them online. When they were barred from recording videos, the students recorded the audio, keeping their phones in their pockets"!
Apart from the track "Sadda Haq", which was shot in CP, the other song which can be found on many a Hinduite's cellphone is "Maine Nahin Socha Hai Ab Tak".
