Akshay Kumar who won many accolades for his performance in 'Pataila House', gets caught himself in yet another controversy. This time its regarding the publicity of his next Anees Bazmee's "Thank You". The actor who along with the entire star cast got two couple married in the city recently, and also denied re-registering his marriage to promote the film. Akshay tried denying all the rumours doing the rounds regarding the publicity.
He explains that it was not a publicity gimmick at all and insists that the couple wanted to have stars in their wedding and so they just surprised them with their presence.
Such publicity stunts are not new to Bollywood. Earlier it was Arbaaz Khan and Malaika who did the same for promoting a product they were endorsing. However Akshay refuses that the rumours about him getting married again and called it rubbish.
The star says, "I am happily married, why would I want to get married again? If I do renew my marriage vows with Tina, and not to promote any film, it will be with all pomp and show".
The actor who is playing the role of a marriage counseller says the ladies would love him more after seeing this movie, as he unveils the truth of cheating husbands before their wives. He chuckles, "The men would want to run away but I am sure their wives will collar them and bring them along".
Insiders from the industry reveal that Anees had turned the script of 'No Entry' into 'Thank You'. Akshay Kumar say they had been working on the script ever since 'Singh Is Kingg' was in process.
Akshay Kumar is really high on his upcoming ventures. The actor reveals that sequel of 'Namastey London' is underway meanwhile he is doing 'Housefull 2' along with 'Desi Boyz' and also a film with Prabhudeva.
The Khildai confesses, "Doing a movie for money is no longer a priority. I want to be appreciated as an actor and experiment with something different in every film".
