Kareena Kapoor refuses to eat non vegetarian food during a breakfast scene in her new movie and has requested director Shakun Batra to allow her to eat pancakes instead.
According to a source, Kareena played the role of a hair stylist in the movie Short Term Shaadi. In a certain scene, Kareena was supposed to be shot having breakfast with the lead actor Imran Khan. For the breakfast scene, Kareena refused to have eggs.
Apparently, director Shakun Batra wanted Kareena to eat scrambled eggs for the scene. However, Kareena refused to do so. Sources said that she pleaded, begged and eventually even threw tantrums.
Finally the director had to give in. Scrambled eggs were replaced by pancakes. Due to several retakes, the actress had to eat as many as fifteen pancakes.
